TAMPA - Second-year cornerback Jacob Parrish will miss the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Week Two home game against the Cleveland Browns at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, ruled out by a back injury he sustained in the season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Parrish had been limited in practice throughout the week and could not clear the injury in time for the 1 p.m. kickoff. Fellow 2025 draft pick Benjamin Morrison, who replaced Parrish after he went down in Week One, is expected to draw the start opposite Zyon McCollum at outside cornerback.
Two other Buccaneers who had been listed as questionable will play. Safety Miles Killebrew, who left the Week One game with a concussion, cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol over the weekend and is available. Wide receiver Jalen McMillan is set to make his 2026 debut after missing the opener with a knee injury sustained early in training camp.
The Buccaneers and Browns submitted their inactives lists at 11:30 a.m. ET Sunday, 90 minutes before kickoff. After elevating safety Ifeatu Melifonwu from the practice squad, Tampa Bay carried 54 available players and designated six inactives to reach the game-day limit of 48. Cleveland similarly elevated linebacker Nathaniel Watson from its practice squad, also reaching 54 players and naming six inactives.
Cleveland will play a second straight game without starting right guard Teven Jenkins, who remains out due to a back injury. Rookie Austin Barber started in Jenkins’ place in the Browns’ opener and is expected to do so again. Browns starting quarterback Tyson Campbell, who appeared on the injury report midweek with an ankle issue and was listed as questionable Friday, has been cleared to play.
