Online influencer Braden Eric Peters, known as Clavicular, was arrested at a Fort Lauderdale short-term rental home on a warrant from Osceola County for misdemeanor battery and conspiracy to commit battery. The 20-year-old Miami resident was taken into custody in the 400 block of Mola Avenue in the Las Olas Isles neighborhood, according to Fort Lauderdale Police Department arrest documents obtained Friday afternoon.

The charges stem from a Feb. 2 incident at an Airbnb near Kissimmee where Peters “instigated” a fight between his girlfriend, Violet Marie Lentz, and a 19-year-old woman, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Peters “posted it on social media to exploit the two women,” an agency news release states. Lentz, 24, is also facing a misdemeanor battery charge but had not been arrested as of around noon Friday.

“Neither Peters nor Lentz came out of the residence to speak to deputies about the incident when they arrived at the house to investigate,” the news release states. “Detectives from the Osceola Sheriff’s Office completed their investigation after reviewing videos and talking with witnesses.” The investigation was completed after deputies reviewed video evidence and interviewed witnesses about the February incident.

Peters has gained controversial attention for promoting “looksmaxxing,” or maximizing one’s physical attractiveness, and practices such as “bone smashing,” which involves tapping one’s face with a hammer in an attempt at jawline-sculpting. Multiple outlets report he has also suggested using crystal meth to stay skinny. He is considered part of the online “manosphere” and has developed a following among young men through his livestream content.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission is also investigating a separate video in which Peters and others appear to shoot at an alligator in the Everglades. “The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals” in what appears to be illegal activity involving protected wildlife, according to reports. The agency’s investigation into the Everglades incident remains ongoing as Peters faces the battery-related charges from the Kissimmee incident.
