Inter Miami CF II heads to Erlanger Park on Saturday still searching for its first victory of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season, carrying an 0-10-4 record and just 5 points into a Fourth of July weekend matchup against a Chattanooga FC squad that has been among the Eastern Conference’s steadiest performers.

The South Florida developmental side faces a steep climb against a Chattanooga club sitting sixth in the Eastern Conference standings with 28 points from 16 matches and a 7-5-4 record. Chattanooga is unbeaten in its last five league matches, with its most recent loss coming on May 31 against Orlando City B.

The series history offers little encouragement for Inter Miami II. Saturday marks the eighth all-time meeting between the two clubs since Chattanooga joined MLS NEXT Pro ahead of the 2024 season. Inter Miami II holds a record of one win, two draws and four losses in the series. In their most recent meeting earlier this season, Chattanooga earned a 1-2 victory.

Chattanooga’s attack runs through forward Alexander Krehl, who leads the club with nine goals and two assists this season. Krehl has been the hosts’ standout performer and figures to be the primary threat against an Inter Miami II defense that has conceded goals at a rate consistent with the worst record in the league.

Chattanooga most recently earned two points after defeating Chicago Fire FC II in a penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw in regulation, extending its unbeaten run.

Kickoff at Erlanger Park is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, with the match broadcast live and free on MLSNEXTPro.com and on OneFootball.
