CHICAGO — Inter Miami CF is deploying its star-laden attack of Leo Messi, Luis Suárez and Germán Berterame against a Chicago Fire FC side featuring Robert Lewandowski at Soldier Field tonight in MLS Matchday 25, with kickoff set for 8:30 p.m. ET.
Head Coach Guillermo Hoyos lined up Inter Miami in a 4-3-3 formation with Dayne St. Clair in goal behind a back line of Ian Fray, Casemiro, Maximiliano Falcón and Fricio Caicedo. The midfield trio of Rodrigo De Paul, Yannick Bright and Telasco Segovia sits behind the Messi-Suárez-Berterame front three. Messi wears the captain’s armband.
Chicago Fire Head Coach Gregg Berhalter matched the formation, starting goalkeeper Chris Brady behind defenders Andrew Gutman, captain Jack Elliott, Noah Allen and Johnny Dean. Anton Salétros, Dje D’Avilla and Robin Lod anchor the midfield, with Philip Zinckernagel and Maren Haile-Selassie flanking Lewandowski up top.
Inter Miami’s bench includes goalkeeper Rocco Ríos Novo, defenders Facundo Mura, Daniel Sumalla and Cesar Abadia, midfielders David Ayala, Alexander Shaw and Preston Plambeck, and forwards Daniel Pinter and Lovend’s Delinois.
