MIAMI — Inter Miami CF hosts Liga MX side Club León at Nu Stadium on Wednesday evening in the club’s third and final Leagues Cup 2026 Phase One match, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the South Florida squad needing a result after dropping its previous game 1-2 to CF Monterrey.
Midfielder Rodrigo De Paul scored Inter Miami’s lone goal in the loss to Monterrey at Nu Stadium, leaving the club looking to rebound against a Club León side that has won both of its Phase One matches. León most recently secured a 1-2 comeback victory over Orlando City SC, with midfielder Daniel Arcila scoring two of the Mexican club’s goals in the tournament.
The fourth edition of the Leagues Cup kicked off Aug. 4 and will conclude with the final Sept. 6. The tournament features 36 clubs total — all 18 Liga MX teams and 18 qualifying MLS clubs — competing in a fully interleague format sanctioned by Concacaf. The top 9 teams from each MLS conference that qualified for the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in the prior season earned entry.
Inter Miami reached the final in its first two Leagues Cup campaigns, lifting the trophy in the inaugural 2023 edition as captain Leo Messi debuted for the club. That title marked the franchise’s first-ever trophy. Three qualification spots for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup are at stake in this year’s tournament, with the champion earning a direct place in the Round of 16.
Parking lots at Nu Stadium open at 4 p.m. ET, with the club warning fans that single-match passes are available only in the Yellow Lot and must be purchased in advance. Fans who take public transportation to the match receive a $10 food and beverage credit. The stadium enforces a clear bag policy limiting bags to 12" x 6" x 12" clear plastic or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag, with small clutch bags no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" also permitted.
Wednesday’s match is the final Phase One contest for both clubs before the knockout rounds begin later in August.
