MIAMI — Inter Miami CF’s three South Florida facilities have hosted a record 13 national teams since June 1, with 11 of those nations preparing for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the club announced.
The teams — Argentina, Cabo Verde, Colombia, England, France, Haiti, New Zealand, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Scotland, Turkey and Venezuela — trained or played across the club’s Nu Stadium, Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale and the Florida Blue Training Center. Inter Miami CF Stadium, the 21,500-capacity venue in Fort Lauderdale, hosted 10 of the 13 nations, while the Florida Blue Training Center drew five teams including Argentina and England. Nu Stadium, the 26,700-seat facility at Miami Freedom Park inaugurated April 4, hosted Haiti and Peru.
The surge of international activity extends beyond match preparation. Grammy-winning star Carín León headlined the first-ever concert at Nu Stadium on June 28, drawing more than 24,000 fans in what the club called the venue’s first concert sellout. The club also staged the KidSuper Spring/Summer 2027 Runway Show, billed as a one-time World Fútbol Celebration Show.
Inter Miami has positioned itself as a global soccer destination over several seasons, a trajectory accelerated by the arrival of Leo Messi and the club’s first MLS Cup title in 2025. The Florida Blue Training Center in Fort Lauderdale features six natural grass fields and one turf field across a 50,000-square-foot facility that serves teams from the U7 Academy through the MLS First Team.
Nu Stadium sits adjacent to Miami International Airport and the Miami Intermodal Center, a location the club says provides unmatched accessibility. The venue anchors Miami Freedom Park, described as the largest active real estate development in Miami, which is set to include the Jorge Mas Canosa Park — billed as the largest new public park in the City of Miami in generations — along with retail, dining, entertainment and youth fields.
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 underway, Inter Miami’s facilities are expected to continue hosting international teams and events through the duration of the tournament.
