FORT LAUDERDALE — Inter Miami CF’s facilities will serve as official training sites for national teams competing in seven FIFA World Cup 2026 matches scheduled at Miami Stadium this summer, the club and Heron Sports & Entertainment announced.
The seven Miami matches span from a June 15 group-stage opener between Saudi Arabia and Uruguay through the third-place match on July 18. Group-stage play also includes Uruguay vs. Cape Verde on June 21, Scotland vs. Brazil on June 24 and Colombia vs. Portugal on June 27. A Round of 32 contest pitting the Group J winner against the Group H winner follows July 3, with a quarterfinal set for July 11.
Scotland’s national team is already using the Inter Miami CF Training Facility from June 1 through 5 as it prepares for its first World Cup appearance in 28 years. The designation adds Inter Miami’s complex to a short list of venues FIFA has entrusted with elite-level preparation during the tournament.
South Florida is also hosting a slate of pre-tournament friendlies at the club’s venues. Haiti, making its first FIFA World Cup appearance in 51 years, faces New Zealand on June 2 at Inter Miami CF Stadium and Peru on June 5 at Nu Stadium — the first-ever friendly at that facility. The Turkish National Team plays Venezuela at Inter Miami CF Stadium on June 6.
Nu Stadium will continue its inaugural programming beyond soccer. The venue hosts its first-ever concert on June 28, featuring Mexican singer and two-time Grammy winner Carín León, the performer behind the World Cup’s official lead single “Lighter.”
Miami Stadium’s World Cup schedule runs through July 18, when the third-place match closes out the city’s hosting duties.
