MIAMI — Inter Miami CF Foundation is partnering with the City of Doral and Global Empowerment Mission to collect essential relief supplies for Venezuela, anchored by a drive-through donation event Wednesday, July 1, from 9 a.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET at Nu Stadium, 1000 Stadium Drive, Miami.

The event will bring out entertainers and public figures including Lele Pons, Jay Wheeler, Jess Judith, Zhamira Zambrano, Mau Montaner and Ricky Montaner, all confirmed to appear in support of the relief effort. Donors are asked to drive to the Inter Miami CF Team Store entrance at Nu Stadium, remain in their vehicles and allow volunteers to unload items.

The drive is accepting canned protein — chicken, beef, tuna, Vienna sausages and sardines — along with canned fruits, dried fruits and vegetables, protein bars, crackers, ramen, meals ready to eat and cases of water. Organizers are also collecting new sleeping bags, tents, cots, air mattresses, suitcases, blankets, pillows, backpacks, work boots, shovels, tarps, flashlights, batteries, portable radios, first aid kits, Lifestraw water filters, solar-powered lanterns and power banks. Hygiene products, baby and children’s supplies including diapers and new clothes, and pet needs such as canned dog and cat food, leashes and crates are also accepted.

Volunteers are not needed at this time, the foundation said. The drive-through format is designed to keep the process efficient, with signage directing vehicles through the stadium grounds.

Beyond the main July 1 event, donations are being accepted at two locations through July 3. Nu Stadium in Miami is open for drop-offs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET daily from June 26 through July 3. Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, at 1350 NW 55th St., is accepting items from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET over the same period.

Global Empowerment Mission, a Miami-based disaster relief nonprofit, will coordinate the shipment of collected supplies to Venezuela. The collection window closes July 3 at both locations.
