TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Lightning added a pair of forwards in the fifth round of the 2026 NHL Draft on Saturday, grabbing Swedish center Morgan Anderberg at No. 134 overall and USHL rookie of the year Cooper Soller at No. 154.

Soller, 17, earned the USHL’s top rookie honor after scoring 26 goals and 49 points in 62 games for the Sioux Falls Stampede. The Los Angeles native was ranked 140th among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting’s final 2026 rankings. He is committed to Western Michigan University and is set to return to the Stampede for the 2026-27 season.

Anderberg, 18, spent the 2025-26 season playing professional hockey for Växjö Lakers HC of the Swedish Hockey League, recording two goals and three points in 39 games. He also posted two goals and 10 points in nine games for Växjö’s U20 club. NHL Central Scouting ranked him 86th among international skaters in its final rankings ahead of the draft.

The 5-foot-11 Anderberg gives Tampa Bay a young center with top-league experience in Sweden, while Soller provides a proven scorer from the top U.S. junior development pipeline. Both selections reflect the Lightning’s continued investment in forward depth through the middle rounds of the draft.
