MIAMI — Marlins right-handed pitching prospect Karson Milbrandt was among the biggest risers on MLB Pipeline’s updated Top 100 prospects list, jumping 20 spots from No. 98 to No. 78 after a dominant stretch at Double-A.

Milbrandt posted a 1.34 ERA with 70 strikeouts in 47 innings at Double-A before earning a promotion to Triple-A, where he has experienced control issues with the new ball. His four-seamer, slider, sweeper and curveball all profile as potential above-average pitches, according to MLB Pipeline’s evaluation.

The Marlins’ prospect was one of six players to rise at least 20 spots in the updated rankings. Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Theo Gillen made the largest jump on the list, vaulting 29 spots from No. 39 to No. 10 after hitting 12 homers and slugging .589 in 57 games for High-A Bowling Green — more than double his 2025 output in the home run category. The 2024 18th overall pick earned a promotion to Double-A.

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mike Sirota climbed 26 spots to No. 12, fueled by an active 63-game on-base streak — the longest in the Minors since Nick Martini’s 66-game run in 2018. The Dodgers now boast nine Top 100 prospects, including two in the Top 12, with Josue De Paula at No. 4 and Sirota at No. 12.

The top two spots remained unchanged, with Brewers shortstop Jesús Made at No. 1 and Athletics shortstop Leo De Vries at No. 2. Both 19-year-olds are playing at Double-A, with Made hitting .281/.355/.441 with seven homers, 23 steals and a 111 wRC+ in 304 plate appearances, and De Vries slashing .281/.374/.423 with nine homers, 28 steals and a 109 wRC+ in 296 plate appearances. Only eight teenagers have logged at least 250 plate appearances at Double-A in a single season this century.

Seattle Mariners left-hander Kade Anderson, last year’s third overall selection, claimed the top pitching prospect spot at No. 5 after generating whiffs with all four of his pitches — four-seam fastball, slider, curveball and changeup — at Double-A Arkansas. The 21-year-old southpaw could factor into Seattle’s major league rotation in the second half. Teammate Ryan Sloan, a 20-year-old right-hander, rose 10 spots to No. 9.

Six new faces entered the Top 100, including Dodgers right-hander Christian Zazueta at No. 92 after debuting with eight strikeouts and one walk over five scoreless innings for Double-A Tulsa, and Phillies outfielder Francisco Renteria at No. 96, who signed in January for $4 million as MLB Pipeline’s No. 3 international prospect. The 2026 MLB Draft begins Saturday, July 11, as part of All-Star Weekend in Philadelphia, with the All-Star Futures Game scheduled the following day and the trade deadline set for Aug. 3.
