MIAMI — The Miami Heat extended a two-way qualifying offer to center Vladislav Goldin, the team announced, a move to retain the young big man who led the franchise’s G League affiliate in blocks last season. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Goldin, originally signed to a two-way contract on July 2, 2025, spent the bulk of last season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, appearing in 24 regular season games with 16 starts. He averaged 11.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, a team-high 2.04 blocks, 1.5 assists and 22.9 minutes while shooting 60.5 percent from the field. He registered 17 multi-block games, five double-doubles and scored in double figures 14 times, including a season-high 21 points on March 28.

Goldin’s production spiked in seven Tip-Off Tournament games with the Skyforce, where he averaged 15.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.57 blocks and 25.8 minutes. He shot 56.6 percent from the field and 55.6 percent (5-of-9) from three-point range during the tournament — a notable stretch for a center showing an expanded offensive game.

At the NBA level, Goldin appeared in nine games with the Heat, totaling seven points, nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks while shooting 3-of-4 from the field and a perfect 1-of-1 from the foul line. The limited sample offered glimpses of efficiency, though his minutes remained sparse with Miami’s roster.

The qualifying offer makes Goldin a restricted free agent, giving the Heat the right to match any offer sheet he signs with another team. The move signals Miami’s interest in continuing to develop the center, whose shot-blocking ability and efficiency around the rim fit the organization’s developmental pipeline through the Skyforce.
