Major League Baseball released its 2027 regular-season schedule Thursday, setting the earliest traditional Opening Day in league history for March 25 with 14 games on the slate.
The season will kick off the night before, March 24, with an Opening Night game streamed live on Netflix. The matchup has not yet been determined. The first full slate of games across the league is scheduled for March 27.
All 30 teams will be in action on marquee dates throughout the calendar, including Jackie Robinson Day on April 15, Memorial Day on May 31, Lou Gehrig Day on June 2, the Fourth of July, Labor Day on Sept. 6 and Roberto Clemente Day on Sept. 15.
The 97th MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard will be played at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on July 13 and air exclusively on FOX. Wrigley will become the only active MLB stadium — and just the third in league history — to host the Midsummer Classic four times, having previously hosted in 1947, 1962 and 1990. The T-Mobile Home Run Derby is set for July 12 at Wrigley and will stream exclusively on Netflix.
The second half opens July 15 with a standalone matchup on ESPN to kick off MLB’s third annual Rivalry Weekend, featuring 11 series between interleague rivals and four additional regional showdowns.
The 2027 regular season is scheduled to conclude Sept. 26. For the Miami Marlins and the rest of the league, specific game-by-game matchups and broadcast details are expected to follow in the coming months.
