Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, opened a 30,000-square-foot wellness facility called The Sanctuary, marking a significant expansion of luxury wellness offerings in Southwest Florida. The new complex spans three levels and includes 13 treatment rooms, three VIP suites and a 3,200-square-foot aquatherapy circuit built around thermal contrast therapy. The facility is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and serves both hotel guests and the public.

“The Sanctuary sets a new standard for wellness in Southwest Florida, blending deeply restorative rituals with some of the most advanced modern technology and therapies,” said Paul Nunez, director of spa, fitness and wellness. “As both a revitalizing retreat for resort guests and a true wellness home for the local Naples community, this new spa invites everyone to reset, reconnect, and thrive in rhythm with the sea.”

The facility features an aquatherapy circuit that includes a sauna, steam room, cold plunge, vitality pool and experience showers designed to move guests through alternating hot and cold environments. Treatments are organized around five elemental themes - Ocean, Sky, Plant, Air and Heat - ranging from traditional massage and skin care to comprehensive wellness programs. The spa incorporates references to the Calusa, an Indigenous group with historical ties to the region’s waterways.

Advanced wellness technology distinguishes The Sanctuary from traditional spa offerings, including an Ammortal Chamber that combines molecular hydrogen, vibro-acoustics and multiwave frequencies in what resort officials describe as a “human recharging” experience. Other specialized services include Margy’s Monte Carlo skin care products, LPG Endermologie treatments focused on body contouring and lymphatic support, and Pilates sessions using FRAME reformers. The facility also offers signature treatments such as The Golden Ratio, a 100-minute massage using heated and cooled stones with guided breathwork, and the Ultimate Age Reversal facial incorporating microcurrent technology.

The wellness complex includes a 24-hour indoor fitness center developed with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, featuring cardio, strength and functional training equipment along with coaching and outdoor classes on the rooftop pool deck. The design, led by Champalimaud Design, uses natural materials including rattan, coral stone and whitewashed wood with arched ceilings and softly lit corridors intended to create a residential atmosphere. The facility includes a rooftop lap pool offering views of the surrounding Naples coastline.

The investment reflects a broader trend among luxury hotel operators to position wellness as a central component of the guest experience rather than an ancillary service. Naples area luxury hotels are increasingly competing for guests seeking high-end spa, fitness and recovery offerings as wellness tourism continues to grow. The Sanctuary’s strategy of serving both resort guests and year-round Naples residents aims to tap into the area’s affluent local population alongside seasonal visitors, positioning the facility as a community wellness destination beyond traditional hotel amenities.
