HARRISON, N.J. — Orlando City SC will look to extend a three-match winning streak Saturday when the Lions visit Red Bull New York, with goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau anchoring a defense that has posted the club’s first two MLS clean sheets of the season since the FIFA World Cup break.
Creépeau, a 2026 MLS All-Star, has recorded 10 saves across the two shutout victories. The Canadian international set a season-high and MLS career-high 11 saves in the season opener against Red Bull New York on Feb. 22, a match the Red Bulls won. Head coach Oscar Pareja made two changes to the starting lineup, returning Eduard Atuesta and Adrián Marín to the XI while moving Bernardo Rhein and Luís Otávio to the bench.
Homegrown forward Justin Ellis, 19, enters the match with five assists on the season, including three across the Lions’ last two matches. Ellis recorded two assists in Orlando City’s 4-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes, setting up Antoine Griezmann’s first goal for the club — Griezmann’s 300th professional club goal — and adding the secondary assist on Braian Ojeda’s first goal of the 2026 campaign. Ellis followed with the assist on Tyrese Spicer’s game-winning goal in the 72nd minute against Nashville SC.
Spicer, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, made his 60th career MLS appearance and 20th for Orlando City in that Nashville match. His three MLS goals this season rank second on the team behind only Martín Ojeda. The Nashville win also marked the first time in club history that three teenagers started an MLS match for the Lions, with Rhein (18), Ellis (19) and Otávio (19) all in the starting XI.
Orlando City holds an 8W-12L-5D all-time record against Red Bull New York, with the two sides each scoring 35 goals in the series. Last season the clubs played to a pair of draws, including a scoreless result at Inter.co Stadium. Brazilian U-22 forward Tiago scored his first MLS goal in his Lions debut in the Feb. 22 season opener after entering as a second-half substitute.
Several individual milestones loom for the Lions. Martín Ojeda needs three goals to tie Facundo Torres’ club record of 47 across all competitions and is five assists from matching Mauricio Pereyra’s club record of 47. Iván Angulo is one assist away from becoming the third player in club history to reach 40 assists in all competitions for Orlando City.
