ORLANDO — The Orlando Magic signed two-time NBA All-Star center Nikola Vucevic as a free agent, bringing back the franchise’s all-time leader in field goals made after a five-year absence, President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman announced.

Vucevic, 7-foot, 260 pounds, played 591 career games with Orlando from 2012-21, averaging 17.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. He holds the franchise’s all-time record in field goals made (4,490) and field goals attempted (9,003), ranks second in double-doubles (354) and rebounds (6,381), and third in points (10,423) and blocked shots (550). He was named an NBA All-Star in 2019 and 2021.

Vucevic played in 64 games last season split between Chicago and Boston, averaging 15.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He started 48 games with the Bulls, averaging 16.9 points and 9.0 rebounds while shooting .505 from the field before being traded to Boston on Feb. 5, 2026. In 16 games with the Celtics, he averaged 9.7 points and 6.6 rebounds. He also appeared in six playoff games. Over his 15-year career, Vucevic has played in 1,036 regular season games with Philadelphia, Orlando, Chicago and Boston, averaging 17.1 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting .497 from the floor. He will wear No. 9.

The Magic also re-signed forward Jonathan Isaac, who was waived by Orlando on June 27, 2026, after playing 52 games last season averaging 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game. Isaac did not appear in the playoffs due to a left knee strain. The sixth overall pick in the 2017 draft, Isaac has played all 328 of his career regular season games with Orlando, averaging 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.19 blocks per game. He ranks sixth on the franchise’s all-time blocked shots list with 391. Isaac will wear No. 1.

Orlando re-signed guard Jevon Carter, who played 30 games with the Magic last season after being signed on Feb. 6, 2026, following his waiver by Chicago on Feb. 1. Carter averaged 7.2 points, 2.3 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 20.4 minutes per game with Orlando and appeared in three playoff games. Originally a second-round pick (32nd overall) by Memphis in 2018, Carter has appeared in 465 career games across six franchises, shooting .377 from three-point range (550-of-1,460). At West Virginia, he won the Lefty Driesell Award as national Defensive Player of the Year in both 2016-17 and 2017-18 and holds the school’s all-time steals record with 330. He will wear No. 2.

Per team policy, terms of all three deals were not disclosed. The Magic, who have won eight division championships including back-to-back titles in 2024 and 2025, play their home games at the Kia Center and practice at the AdventHealth Training Center. The franchise’s NBA G League affiliate, the Osceola Magic, won the 2021 G League championship.
