ORLANDO — The Orlando Magic unveiled a 20-player roster for NBA Summer League 2026 in Las Vegas, headlined by Izaiyah Nelson, the 51st overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft out of South Florida, and two returning players from last season’s roster.

Nelson, a 6-10, 218-pound forward, will be joined by guard Jase Richardson and forward Noah Penda, both of whom completed their rookie campaigns with Orlando last season. Richardson, a 6-1 guard out of Michigan State, and Penda, a 6-7 forward from Le Mans Sarthe in France, give the Magic a mix of NBA experience and youth on a roster otherwise stocked with rookies and fringe veterans.

D.J. Bakker will serve as head coach of the Magic’s Summer League squad. The team’s front office — led by President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman and General Manager Anthony Parker — assembled a roster that includes players from 15 college and professional programs. Head coach Sean Sweeney’s regular-season staff will observe from Las Vegas.

The roster features several notable names beyond the headliners. Cam Reddish, a six-year NBA veteran and former Duke standout, is listed at forward. Guard TyTy Washington Jr., a four-year pro out of Kentucky, and guard Keon Johnson, also with four years of NBA experience from Tennessee, bring the most professional seasoning. Colin Castleton, a 6-11 center out of Florida, returns with three years of pro experience.

Among the rookies, guard Johnell Davis arrives from Arkansas, forward Malik Reneau from Miami (FL), and guard Tre Holloman from North Carolina State. Forward Mike Sharavjamts, a 6-9 wing from South Carolina and Mongolia, and guard Ace Baldwin Jr. from Penn State round out the first-year players.

All 30 NBA teams will participate in Summer League 2026, which runs July 9-19 at the Pavilion and Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Orlando opens play against Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. ET on July 9 on Prime, followed by a matchup against Miami at 3:30 p.m. ET on July 11. The Magic face Portland at 7 p.m. ET on July 12 on ESPNU and Philadelphia at 4 p.m. ET on July 15 at Thomas & Mack, also on ESPNU. A fifth game is to be determined based on Summer League standings.
