TAMPA — Buccaneers left tackle Tristan Wirfs landed at No. 52 on the 2026 NFL Top 100, the peer-voted ranking produced by NFL Films, after a 2025 season in which he earned his fifth Pro Bowl nod and posted the second-highest offensive grade among all qualified offensive linemen.
Wirfs’ five Pro Bowl selections are the third-most by an offensive player in franchise history, trailing only fullback Mike Alstott and wide receiver Mike Evans. Pro Football Focus credited Wirfs with a 92.0 offensive grade last season after he logged 710 offensive snaps through Week 16, yielding just four quarterback hits and two sacks.
His run-blocking grade of 91.0 ranked sixth across the league, while his 84.6 pass-blocking grade ranked seventh — numbers that reflect a lineman who dominates on both sides of the snap count. Wirfs possesses the lateral quickness for pull, lead block and wide zone duties and has the smooth ability to slide with top-caliber edge rushers, according to the team’s scouting evaluation.
Wirfs sets the tone in Tampa Bay’s offensive line and has solidified his case in the upper echelon at the position in the NFL. With rare explosion for his size, the former Iowa product elevates the entire unit and will assume his role as Baker Mayfield’s blind-side protector in 2026.
The NFL Top 100 countdown reveals players on X at 10 a.m. ET and 11 a.m. ET daily Monday through Friday from June 22 through Aug. 21. One Top 10 player will be unmasked each weekday from 10 a.m. ET starting Aug. 24 through Sept. 4.
